Physics 410: Numerical Relativity Group SGI Machines

The Numerical Relativity Group maintains a cluster of scientific workstations, including the ones you will use in this course, which are manufactured by Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI). You will have a common home directory on all of the machines listed below, and will be able to remotely login to any of them using ssh (secure shell).

I suggest that you limit your access to sgi1.physics.ubc.ca (at least initially).

Note that all of these machines are in the .physics.ubc.ca domain.
